Abreu Events Destination Management
Rescuing food for those in need CSR activity
Is not always easy or linear to find ways of giving back to the community, yet there are a few brilliant souls like Hunter, who create a non-profit organization called Refood with the sole purpose of rescuing tons of good food to stop waste and feed people in need.
We propose a CSR activity with Hunter of about 2-3 hours, starting with a small speech from Hunter himself, further explaining the project at a chosen location - can be a hotel meeting room to a semi-private area in a restaurant. Then together with Hunter, it’s time to get in action, our mission during the activity is to visit two restaurants that contribute to Refood cause, to collect the meals and take it to Refood warehouse.
The process at the warehouse is done by Refood volunteers, who will properly package the food, to be delivered to the families in the evening.
Depending on the distance between the selected restaurants we can walk or hop-on a tuk-tuk.
We will guarantee it will be a good feeling to give back to the Portuguese community somehow!
