A Dutch Journey Through Northern Spain's Finest
Bilbao, San Sebastián and Getaria
In mid-March, we delivered a tailor-made incentive program for a Dutch group of 20 participants from the Publishing Industry, across three days in the heart of the Basque Country.
Day 1 — Bilbao
The group arrived to a warm welcome with a refined cocktail lunch at the elegant Palacio Urgoiti, featuring gourmet Basque specialties and fine local wines. After checking in at the Radisson Collection Gran Vía Bilbao, they explored the city through an interactive treasure hunt, uncovering its unique blend of contemporary architecture and historic charm. The evening concluded with a guided pintxos tour through Bilbao's atmospheric Old Town, a true celebration of Basque gastronomy.
Day 2 — San Sebastián & Getaria
The group travelled to San Sebastián, enjoying panoramic views from Mount Igeldo and a guided stroll through the city center. Lunch at Sidrería Txirrita offered an authentic cider house experience with traditional dishes. The afternoon led to Getaria for a private txakoli wine tasting at Bodega Gaintza, overlooking the stunning Basque coastline. Dinner at Los Fueros in Bilbao rounded off a day rich in flavor and discovery.
Day 3 — Guggenheim & Farewell
The final morning featured a guided tour of the iconic Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, before a farewell lunch to celebrate three remarkable days together.
