Located on Calle Cedaceros, in the very center and extremely close to Puerta del Sol.
For any beach, the Blue Flag is the highest award that it can have. The Blue Flag is a certification founded in 1987, by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), meaning that a beach, marina, or sustainable boating tourism operator meets the highest environmental standards. An honour that less only 40 countries in the world, in all continents, have it, and among those there are the undoubtedly “kings” of the beaches.

Benidorm, 30 minutes from Alicante, is known as "The Manhattan of the Mediterranean" due to the number of skyscrapers, many of them exceeding 100 meters in height. Despite being one of the best-known tourist destinations internationally, it is also considered an example of sustainability: as there are so many skyscrapers, it allows the existence of more green areas and the reduction of private transport, as the distances are shorter.
